Patricia is an innovative, dedicated, self-driven, proactive team player and a result-oriented person with 18 years’ experience in the Public-Sector Management as well as private sector (consultancy). She has good interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, a bility to communicate and is able to work under busy and tight schedules. She has a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences majoring in Sociology and Masters Degree in Public Administration and Management from Makerere University; she has a Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply – MCIPS (UK). Patricia has attended a number of Skills Development trainings including Public Emergency Management for Developing Countries (Beijing China), Effective Supervisory Management (ESAMI- Kenya) and Administrative Officers Law Course (LDC- Uganda) among others. She is well versed with various computer packages including MS. Word, MS. Excel and PowerPoint. Patricia is also knowledgeable in the preparation of work plans and reports as she was part of the team that prepared the annual Ministerial Policy Statements, Budget Framework papers, the quarterly financial and physical progress reports as well as routine Monitoring and Evaluation reports of key programmes in the Office of the Prime Minister. She has competence in procurement management having been a Secretary to the Contracts Committees for the Ministry of Local Government and Office of the Prime Minister for nine years. During annual leave for a number of years, she was a Team Leader / Consultant with UPIMAC Consultancy Services Limited during the Assessment of the performance of Local and Urban authorities in the Republic of Tanzania for access of the Development Grants funded by the World Bank a firm she later joined full time in 2016. She has also coordinated a number of high level fora and policy meetings involving Cabinet Ministers, Donor Agencies, chief executives of different MDAs for example during the Annual Cabinet Retreats and World Bank Missions. Patricia also represented the Ministry of Local Government as a focal point person on a number of committees namely; CODEX National Committee of the National Bureau of Standards, ECLATU- Elimination of Child Labour in Tobacco Growing Areas under BAT, NUREP-Northern Uganda Rehabilitation Programme, Defence Committee, Steering Committee and the National Physical Education and Sports Working Group. In the Office of the Prime Minister she was on the Risk Management Committee, Change Management Committee and Rapid Results Initiative Team.
